This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Shade Planner handles information associated with homeshadelab.com. Smart Shade Planner is independently operated in the United States. In this policy, “we” and “our” refer to the individual site operator.
Information you provide
The site does not currently provide a public contact form, visitor account registration, comments, newsletter, or mailing list.
If you email [email protected], we may receive your email address, name or identifier, message contents, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.
Please do not send passwords, payment details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information that is not necessary for your request.
Technical information
The site is hosted using OVHcloud infrastructure. OVHcloud, WordPress, the web server, or related security systems may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. Depending on the server configuration, this may include an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, request time, referring page, response status, error details, or security events.
Smart Shade Planner does not claim that no technical logs exist. The exact server-log contents and retention period may depend on the hosting provider, server configuration, security requirements, and provider defaults.
Analytics, advertising, accounts, and newsletters
Smart Shade Planner does not currently have Google Analytics or another visitor analytics service installed. It does not currently use display advertising, advertising trackers, affiliate tracking, public visitor accounts, or an email newsletter.
If those features are introduced in the future, this policy must be updated before or when the related data processing begins.
Cookies
The site does not currently have analytics or advertising cookies installed or configured, and it does not currently use a separate cookie-consent banner.
WordPress, the hosting environment, or security and administrative functions may use cookies that are strictly necessary for limited technical purposes. The absence of analytics or advertising tools does not mean that a browser can never receive a necessary technical cookie.
How information is used
Information may be used to:

Hosting, server, security, or email infrastructure providers may process limited information when necessary to deliver their services. Smart Shade Planner does not sell personal information and does not currently share visitor information for targeted advertising.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, protect the website or others, investigate abuse, or enforce security.
Retention
Email messages and related records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain an appropriate record, prevent abuse, protect the site, or meet applicable legal obligations. No fixed email-retention period is promised.
Technical logs, if generated, may be retained according to the applicable server configuration, security needs, and hosting-provider defaults. Smart Shade Planner does not publish an unverified fixed log-retention period.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures may be used to protect the site and information associated with it. No website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may contact [email protected] to ask what information was provided through email, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or raise another privacy concern. A request may require reasonable verification, and available rights may depend on applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping or security needs.
